The primary appraoch to this research, consisted of an autoethnography inspired by Liz Pelly's (2018) research, around 'sexism on Spotify'. Alongside this, semi-structured interviews were conducted. Lending the researcher an outside perspective to the research, while the auto-ethnography would allow a first hand look, into Spotify's recommender system.
